I was bitten by the show bug in 1994 when I purchased my first show dog, a Standard Schnauzer named Liesl, CH. Showboat Starkist of Tsumani. She was a great start in the breed. I finished her as a 9 month old puppy and went on to a group placement and BOS at our 1996 National Specialty!

Liesl was the beginning of many champions, group winners and placers, as well as National Specialty winners! My very special Ava, Ch. Rumor's One Touch of Venus, her daughter, went BOS two years in a row at our National Specialties and later BOS veteran... Liesl's grandpups and Ava's pups have been winners, best of winners, and best in sweeps at several national and regional specialties!

I began dabbling in other breeds, looking for a second breed that was smaller, required less grooming, no cropping or docking, healthy and could be carried on an airplane! Eventually I met my first Toy Manchester Terrier and wanted to learn more. I was smitten! A friend and judge of terriers introduced via email me to Jerri Hobbs, who happen to have a very special bitch available to a proven show home. Bounce was just what I was hoping for, a bitch to special!. Bounce and I won several group 1's and 2's. Wagging her tail and jumping straight up in the ring, she is a hoot to show! Last summer Jerri and I co-bred a Bounce litter sired by CH. Heaven Hi's Honor Bound. The puppies were born and raised in my home. Much easier then Standard Schnauzer pups I must say! They have turned out quite lovely and I am excited for the future. I am continuing to learn as much as I can about the breed and hope to make contacts with other TMT breeders and fanciers!
