I bought my first Standard Schnauzers puppy in winter of 1994... .I purchased "Liesl," Ch. Showboat Starkist of Tsunami, and Donna Starr- Gimeno purchased "Gus", Ch. Geistvoll Takin the Lead and soon after, "Greta" Ch. Geistvoll XLR'aten. We started taking dog show trips, and our husbands took fishing trips. Couldn't ask for a better arrangement!

Luckily, we started with exceptional dogs from the Geistvoll and Tsunami lines. We were instantly "hooked" on the breed.Their look, versatility, loyalty and intelligence is hard to beat!

We took comformation and obedience classes and quickly obtained our dogs ' championships. Of course we were now also "hooked" on showing and proud to be owner, handlers! Liesl, our foundation bitch, was BOS at the 1996 National Specialty and was bred in 1997, Greta won Best in Sweeps and RWB at the same National Specialty and was bred in 2001. We have continued to breed and show exceptional dogs ever since.

We breed on a very limited basis. The dogs must have health testing certificates with OFA Hips and CERF eyes. Our top breeding goals include temperment, health and structure. We produce happy, healthy dogs for companionship or competion, and strive to match the right puppy with the right person(s). Whether they are a trusting companion on the couch, in the show/performance ring, or are deemed world's best squirrel patrol, they all are exceptional dogs to the people who own and love them.
